1.About the software
 "N8190-7157A/7158A Fibre Channel Controller driver for Windows Server 2016
Driver" ("the Software"), for Windows Server 2016 will make the enhancements
or solve the issues for NEC NX7700x serias as below.

2.Models
 Refer to NEC NX7700x series support Site.

3.Driver install procedures
 Perform the following steps to extract the Software and install the driver
by administrator.

- Confirm Driver version.

 (1) Run Explorer and open the following folder.

      %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\drivers

      Note: SYSTEMROOT's default is C:\WINDOWS

 (2) Right click and choose the properties of "%SYSTEMROOT%System32\drivers\elxfc.sys".

 (3) Click [Details] tab and confirm the [File version].
     If the File version is 11.4.204.47 or over, you don't need to install Driver.

- How to extract:

 (1) Download GVO-044022-G01_xxxxxx.zip(xxxxx is an expression of arbitrary numbers)
     to any directory. (for example, "C:\TEMP" folder) 

 (2) Extract GVO-044022-G01_xxxxxx.zip(xxxxx is an expression of arbitrary numbers).
     Note: You must not use the folder with the name including space (" ")
     in extracting the zip file.
 
- How to install:

 (1) Execute install.vbs(unziped files) using an appropriate tool such as Explorer.

 (2) The following message appears. Please click [Yes].
     [Do you want to setup the Fibre Channel Controller?]
     Start driver update.

 (3) The following message appears. Please reboot the system after click [OK].
     [This setup finished successfully. Please restart the system.]

 (4) After restart system, confirm Driver version following procedure.
     1) Run Explorer and open the following folder.
          %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\drivers
     2) Right click and choose the properties of "%SYSTEMROOT%System32\drivers\elxfc.sys".
     3) Click [Details] tab and confirm the [File version].
     4) Confirm to File version is 11.4.204.47.

4.Notes
  During updating driver, the eventlog (ID17/mpio,ID44/mpio,ID530/spsdsm) is registered
  that the path was disconnected on the environment with iStorage StoragePathSavior.
  After updating driver, a different controller name may be displayed per controller
  in Device Manager.This is no problem.
  If you display the correct controller name, start command prompt and execute 
  \utl\FriendlyName.exe(unzipped files).
