   - Be sure to upgrade DPM Client.

 - If you configure the SSC components in a clustering environment, see
the Clustering.txt (Procedures for Installing the Module in the Clustering
   Environment) for the installation procedure.

 - When installing SSC components, do not use Terminal Services or other remote
   management software to log on.
(In Windows Server 2008 R2 and subsequent releases, Terminal Services is
   renamed Remote Desktop Services.)

 [Before Starting Installation]

  - The software requires about 12 minutes to apply.
  - By installing this software, the services of the SSC components are
    stopped.
Make sure that it does not hinder your system operation when installing
    this software.

[Notes on Unzipping a .zip File]
Before unzipping a .zip file, see the notes described in "Notes on Unzipping
  a .zip File" in Release.txt.

 [Flow of Installation Procedure]

The installation procedure of the SSC components has the following two cases:

  - For management servers
  - For managed machines

The following explains how the installation in each case proceeds.

[Installing the DPM Server], the DPM Client included in this software will be
automatically installed by the function of DPM Client automatic
upgrade. Also, the DPM Client can be upgraded by using a scenario.
(For details, see 3.3.1, "Automatically Upgrading the DPM Client"
and 3.3.2, "Manually Upgrading the DPM Client" in DeploymentManager
      Installation Guide).
Hereinafter, procedures on how to install this software on each managed
      machine will be explained.
(For influences if you did not upgrade DPM Client, see 3.3.1,
"Automatically Upgrading the DPM Client" in DeploymentManager
        Installation Guide.)
   - When you install the DPM Client to the machine newly, just install this
     software.
It is unnecessary to install the DPM Client beforehand.

   (1) Log on to a machine
Log on to the machine on which the DPM Client will be installed with
a user with Administrator rights (usually Administrator).

   (2) Check the Version
Check the version by following the procedures below.

       1) Open [Programs and Features] by selecting [Control Panel] from the
          [Start] menu.

          displayed as 6.20.000.

   (3) Before updating files
Ensure that no scenario is being executed on the machine on which this
       software is installed.
If there is a scenario that is being executed, wait until the scenario
is completed, or stop the scenario and ensure that the stopping process
       has been completed.

   (4) Unzip the software
Copy this software (SSC0302-0002.zip) to an arbitrary folder
on the machine where the DPM Client will be installed, and unzip

management server automatically after the installation is completed.
It takes some time to search.

       4) Installation of the module will start.

   (6) Check the version after installation
After installing, check the version by following procedures below.

       1) Open [Programs and Features] by selecting [Control Panel] from the
          [Start] menu.
