日頃より、弊社 Express5800 シリーズをご愛顧いただき、厚く御礼申し上げます。
以下に記す対象装置、対象OSにおいて、Broadcom製LANコントローラーを使用し、ドライバーのバージョンが214.0.0.4以前の場合にOSシャットダウン時にごく稀にUMCE(Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception)が発生する事象が確認されております。なお、UMCE発生後、STOPエラー(ブルースクリーン)となる場合もあります。

以下の対処方法を実施いただけますようお願いいたします。

4. 事象内容

「3. 対象コントローラ」のいずれかを使用している環境において、OSシャットダウン時、ごく稀にUMCE(Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception)が発生し、Integrated Management Log (IML)に以下の様なログが登録される事象が確認されております。

Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception (Processor 1, APIC ID 0x00000002, Bank 0x00000006, Status 0xB3800000'00000E0B, Address 0x00000000'00000000, Misc 0x00000000'00000000). ACTION:Update the system firmware. If the issue persists, contact support.

Unrecoverable I/O Error has occurred. System Firmware will log additional details in a separate IML message entry if possible.

Uncorrectable PCI Express Error Detected. Embedded LOM (Segment 0x0, Bus 0x2, Device 0x0, Function 0x0). Uncorrectable Error Status: 0x00100000 ACTION:Update the firmware of the device. If the issue persists, replace the failing device.

5. 発生条件

Broadcom製LANコントローラーのドライバー(b57nd60a.sys)が214.0.0.4以前でOSシャットダウンを行った場合

6. 対処方法

Broadcom製LANコントローラーのドライバー(b57nd60a.sys)を214.0.0.6以降へアップデートするようお願いいたします。Version S8.10-009.01以降のStarter Pack DVDからStandard Program Packageを適用ください。

最新のStarter Packは以下のサイトから検索し、入手してください。
https://www.support.nec.co.jp/ListModuleDownload.aspx?noClear=on

Version S8.10-009.01のStarter Pack DVDの場合、DVD 上の\packages\cp045019.exeを実行してドライバーを個別にインストールすることもできます。

なお、Windows Server 2012 R2についても本問題が発生する可能性がありますが、Windows Server 2012 R2 に関しては対策ドライバーはありません。ただし、シャットダウン時のみ発生する問題のため、運用上の影響はありません。現象が発生した場合には、電源OFF/ONにて復旧してください。

7. 注意事項
